Residential Engineering Design Group Limited (or RED Group Ltd) is a structural engineering company based in Wellington. We provide structural engineering services for residential alterations and developments in New Zealand. Our engineers have extensive experience on challenging projects locally and worldwide.

Our approach is to first ensure we fully understand our clients' needs, what matters most to them and the particular way they prefer to operate. Our services are then tailored to the specific requirements and we take a hands-on approach to deliver them.

New structural design or existing building alteration

RED Group engineers have vast experience of typical residential structural systems and are able to perform complex analyses for unique projects that are not your typical house or residential structure, whether this be a brand new house, a simple steel beam or an alteration and extension to an existing structure. Our engineers continually develop their knowledge and skills with a focus on simple and cost-effective solutions to ensure ease of construction and compliance with the Building Code. The structural design requirements for each project will vary according to the objectives of each project and the owner.
